At First Baptist, we have something for everybody! If you are seven days old or if you are seventy, there is something here for you to get involved in.
Children
Your children will love coming to First Baptist Church, weather they are in the nursery, or in Junior’s Church. visit the children’s website
Youth

Discipleship Training
Throughout the year, we have small-group breakout sessions during the Sunday Evening Service. These classes are usually between 5 and 12 weeks long and are a great opportunity to grow in your relationship with Christ. Find out more information and when these break-out classes will be going on.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM’s group)
We have one of the most active Senior Adult groups that we know of! With great leadership, this group makes it a point to visit prayer summits and seminars throughout the state whenever they can. You may think seniors move slowly. If you do, you have never seen the seniors of First Baptist.
Sunday School
We are interested in the spiritual development of each member of the family. We provide classes for all ages, infant through senior adult. We invite you to participate in our Bible Study and see for yourself that we are friendly people who love the Lord, one another, and teach the Word!
F.A.I.T.H.
F.A.I.T.H. is our largest outreach ministry in the church. Two times a year, teams meet for 8 weeks and learn how to bring people to Christ using the F.A.I.T.H. outline. After learning how, they apply it and go out into Griffith and beyond, trying to win people to Christ or get them to come to church. Many people have been saved and have started attending church regularly because of this program.
Prayer
God is doing something new in our church – people are joining, decisions for Christ are being made, worship is exciting – all of this because of prayer.
Music
If you have a gift for singing, or just enjoy it, our Music Ministry is for you!
Men’s Ministry
Headed by Don Eich, this is one of the newer ministries of First Baptist. With a monthly meeting, strong fellowship, food, and great devotionals, this group will surely find any man at FBC joining.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry, lead by Karen Lackey, loves to go to overnight seminars and hold annual bible studies that meet weekly when going on. Come and see what this ministry is for yourself or invite someone who you would like to see come to Christ.
Builders for Christ
This team of men and women go to different places in the country and help build or renovate churches.
Early Learning Center Preschool
